Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:
6 slices Turkey bacon, chopped
1 onion, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 head of cabbage, cored and chopped
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Instructions:
1️⃣ Cook the Turkey bacon:

Heat a large stockpot or deep skillet over medium-high heat.
Add chopped Turkey bacon and cook until crispy (about 10 minutes).
Remove Turkey bacon with a slotted spoon, leaving about 2 tablespoons of grease in the pan.
2️⃣ Sauté Onion & Garlic:

Add sliced onion to the Turkey bacon grease and cook until caramelized (about 5-7 minutes).
Stir in minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds, until fragrant.
3️⃣ Fry the Cabbage:

Immediately stir in the chopped cabbage and cook, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes.
Add salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
4️⃣ Simmer & Serve:

Reduce heat to low, cover the pot, and let the cabbage simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the cooked Turkey bacon, mix well, and serve hot!

Notes

Pro Tips:

For extra smokiness, add a dash of smoked paprika or a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
For a spicier version, toss in some red pepper flakes.
Want it crispy? Skip the lid and cook uncovered for a more caramelized texture.
