1 ½ cups long-grain white rice

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 green bell pepper, diced

2 celery stalks, chopped

3 cups beef broth

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp vegetable oil

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for extra spice)

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

Instructions:
1️⃣ Brown the Ground Beef

Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add ground beef and cook for 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart until browned.

Drain excess grease if necessary.

2️⃣ Sauté the Vegetables

Add onion, bell peppers, and celery to the skillet.

Cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.

Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

3️⃣ Season and Toast the Rice

Sprinkle in Cajun seasoning, black pepper, smoked paprika, salt, and cayenne (if using).

Stir well, then add rice and toast for 1–2 minutes to enhance the flavor.

4️⃣ Simmer Until Tender

Pour in beef broth, stir to combine, and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is tender.

Notes

️⃣ Fluff and Serve

Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.

Garnish with green onions and parsley, then serve hot.
